Steve Kane



Steven Kane is a Boston-based entrepreneur and investor. Most recently he was co-founder and CEO of digital games and database marketing platform developer LuckyLabs, which was acquired by InfoScout, Inc. in 2014. Previously, Steve was co-founder and CEO of digital games and marketing platform developer GameLogic, which was acquired by Scientific Games [NASDAQ: SGMS] in 2010. Prior to GameLogic, Steve was co-founder and CEO of Internet tech, games and marketing pioneer, which was acquired by Lycos Network [NASDAQ: LCOS] in 1999. Before Gamesville, he was co-founder and CEO of InterLab (dba Elkay Products,) the global producer of laboratory liquid handling systems and consumables, which was acquired by CIT Group [NYSE: CIT] in 1994.

Steven has also been a Director, Advisor and investor in various media, tech, consumer goods and financial services companies, including WEVO, GeoNet, Infusion Global Partners, Latitude38, Sproutel, Applause Foods, Conduit Labs (acquired by Zynga [NASDAQ: ZNGA]), Playhem, SnapApp, Acres4.0 Gaming, Soundbite Communications (NASDAQ: SDBT), Rick’s Picks, Worcester Tornadoes, and Leader Bank, NA.

Steven is on the Mentor Staff at the Harvard University Innovation Lab (iLab), and is a Trustee of The David Project, a member of the Board of Science on Screen from the Coolidge Corner Theater, a member of the Phillips Academy Andover Alumni Council, and a past Trustee of the Joslin Diabetes Center. He graduated from Phillips Academy Andover and the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
