Introducing Our Newest Advisory Board Member: Andy Palmer

Meet Andy Palmer. He’s a serial entrepreneur, a leading angel investor and recipient of the 2013 Angel Investor of the Year NEVCA award. Most recently, Andy is the newest addition to the WEVO advisory board.

It’s no secret that Andy is a startup rockstar. He’s founded, grown and invested in more than 50 startups to-date, including many successful technology companies. Most recently, Andy co-founded Tamr, an enterprise data unification company, and over the past 10 years, Andy’s angel fund has backed some of the best startups in Boston.

So, what did he see in us?

“I chose to support the WEVO team because of their unique solution for marketers who have relied for too long on rearview mirror AB testing, rather than predictive analytics and understanding consumers needs up front,” says Andy.

Palmer joins WEVO at an exciting time, shortly after our recent launch of a platform for marketers that tests and improves website conversion before going live, allowing them to skip the weeks to months typically invested in live AB testing. The platform predicts conversion testing outcomes, provides audience insight, and helps marketers maximize conversion.

Our CEO is especially psyched.

“I’m thrilled to have Andy on board!,” says Nitzan Shaer, CEO and co-founder of WEVO. “He is an exceptional entrepreneur, mentor and angel investor, not to mention a value-based, individual, who cares deeply about the people he comes into contact with. His success as a high growth CEO, his vision, and his experience as a technology investor all position him uniquely to contribute strategic insights to WEVO.”

Andy is joining a stellar team of our existing advisory board members:

  • Frank Moss, Ph.D.
  • Debi Kleiman
  • Steve Kane
  • Carla Brodley, Ph.D.
  • Will Graylin

“We’ve got a great group of advisory board members, and can’t wait to see how the company continues to grow with their guidance,” says Nitzan.
